It was only missing the bread sauce! The parsnip had been roasted, and the sprouts had a lovely crunch!! I wont forget it in a hurry! Set me up for a fascinating guided tour of the house. “ I dont really know how this cafe has ended up with such poor reviews it nearly put us off going in there ! So we went Saturday lunch time it was very busy inside and out most of the tables were full and the queue was right down the cafe, we ordered our food, our drinks were made straight away and within 10 minutes of sitting down our food arrived, it was hot tasty and a very good portion size and believe me I am fussy and particular about paying for food ! The staff were extremely pleasant and one lady chatted to us for quite some time, lots of smiles and happy to help. There were 4 of us 3 adults and a 9month old and for all of us to have a main meal a hot drink and a biscuit and it came to 40, we were happy to pay this as the little farm is so cheap to get in and absolutely excellent ! Itd be a shame for the prices to be raised for the farm as it would exclude people that cant afford a family day out, so the cafe being a little pricier is fair enough I think. Keep up the good work ”
